Lives Behind the Headstones

Compiled and edited by Sheila Kelsey, first published in 1993, this little island classic continues to be a favourite gift and keepsake for Thetis Island residents and visitors alike.

This compilation of life stories of the early settlers on Thetis Island was created by Sheila to help “keep alive the memories of all these people who form part of the fabric of our island’s history.”

Copies are available for purchase locally at the Capernwray Pump House Gift Shop, Thetis Island Marina Post Office and Telegraph Harbour Marina Bistro Café.

Proceeds from sales of this book go to St. Margaret’s Cemetery to help provide for its upkeep. The St. Margaret’s Cemetery Board thanks you for your support.
