Dear Island Neighbours,
You know that moment when you look at your life around your property, and realize that despite your best efforts—and the valiant attempts of a very enthusiastic 9-year-old and a slightly less enthusiastic dog named Sparkles—you're still wildly outnumbered by the to-do list? That’s me.
To help with the never-ending list of tasks (and life), I’ve decided to bring in occasional work-away students who can lend a hand with gardening, maintenance projects, and the beautiful chaos of solo parenting. Having a seperate clean, warm, functional space for them to stay would make a world of difference for their comfort.
So, I’m wondering if anyone has an older trailer they’d be willing to part with—something around 20 feet, give or take. A trailer that’s no longer out adventuring and is ready to settle into a quiet, meaningful life in the forest. This would be its last move—its forever home—spending days talking to trees, being useful again, and holding space for good memories.
I only have a teeny tiny bit to spend, my heart and skills are much bigger than my budget. I’m not afraid of a medium fixer-upper, as long as it has good bones and doesn’t need structural replacement. If you have something waiting for a second life, I’d love to hear from you.
With appreciation,
Elite, and my ever-present helpers Athenia and Sparkles.
