The repair fair is less than three weeks away. There will be many participants with a wide range of skills.
In building/renovating advice we will have Ernie Hunter and Tess & Richard DeMarco.
Ernie is the true 'Ask me anything' guy. Have a question he probably has the answer, or he can point you in the right direction.
Tess & Richard DeMarco have been operating RITE Renovations since 2004. Their expertise is in building on a budget, having renovated 3 homes from Nickel Bros. that otherwise were destined for the landfill.
Ask them about:
- Sourcing materials
- When do you need special trades
- Resources and basic tools for DIY
- When do you need a permit
- Recycling and repurposing building material
