I'm hosting a Community Meeting this Sunday, September 22^nd, at 2 p.m. at the Forbes Hall Community Centre, Thetis Island. The meeting is open to all Thetis Island and Area G residents. I'll review what we've been up to for the last two years. This informal setting will have plenty of time for questions and answers.

What is the purpose of the CVRD, and where does its authority come from?
The role of Improvement Districts and Islands Trust relating to the CVRD
The difference between Regional, Sub-Regional and Local services within the CVRD
How Thetis Island fits in with the rest of Area G (e.g. Saltair, Penelakut, Ruxton, etc.)
