This week, across Canada, is Paramedic Services Week where we recognize the hard working paramedics for their dedication and challenges they face in the field.
The TIVFD recognizes the BCEHS Stations 149 (Chemainus) 152 (Duncan) and 159 (Ladysmith) paramedics who travel over on the Island Responder to meet our patients and transport them to Cowichan District Hospital or other trauma facilities.
We also are sending a shout-out to our Community Paramedic Vinh Pham who visits Thetis regularly to serve our community’s need for ongoing health support.
